The company was initially involved in glassfibre laminating, GRP materials distribution and engineering but concentrated on engineering and materials distribution after their move to Norfolk in 1965. Their first involvement with GRC was in the early 1960's when a batch of their 'E' glass choppers was modified to enable the British Building research station to conduct trials on chopping the original 'AR' glass. Successful chopping trials led to the development and production of the concentric spraygun and with further developments over the years culminating in the Pre-mix Mixer and Pre-mix Spraypump.
